The Alberta Insurance Council (AIC) requires that all agents holding a life certificate must have 15 hours of credits per certificate for each certificate term. Effective July 1, 2014 a “certificate term” means the period beginning on July 1 and ending on the next June 30. You may carry forward up to a maximum of 7.5 hours of credits from one certificate term to the next. Refer to the AIC website for more detail.

Only courses from an Accredited Course Provider, or courses that have received individual accreditation from the Alberta Insurance Council’s Continuing Education Accreditation Committee, are eligible for CE purposes.
